Custom Designed Additions & Renovation
Build to your budget on time and defect free.

We work with clients who do not want to change their addresses. Sometimes they want to knock down and rebuild, other times they want to renovate or extend to make room for a growing family.

They might just want an interior refresh. Or, they want to finally finish out the basement into a family room or home office.

Alternatively, they might want to renovate the outside with new siding, stucco or by modernizing the existing design.

We are custom home designers who can tweak or completely transform your home. And we can give you expert advice every step of the way, from design questions to construction advice.

You’ll see your whole project in a 3D computer model before we start, so you know exactly what your home will look like when it’s finished. We price everything down to the last detail, so there is no uncertainty about the final project cost.

Because our team is comprised of designers and project managers that have relationships with the best suppliers, your project will be handled seamlessly from beginning to end.

If you’re not planning to stay in the home but are looking to increase its value for sale, we can show you how to get the biggest return for your budget.

Investments don’t get much bigger or more personal than your home. And if you’re investing in building your own home, there are some things you should definitely know before you start. These are things we’re passionate about.

The Ontario Minimum Building Code is a minimum

Building a house to meet the Ontario building code means building to minimum standards. For instance, your house will be the least thermally and energy efficient home you’re legally allowed to build.

Also, what is designed on paper isn’t necessarily what’s built, because Ontario building codes don’t require tests for thermal and energy performance. (You might design the most energy efficient fridge imaginable, but if you build it full of holes . . .) One study tested new houses in three Ontario cities. They were supposedly built to achieve a six-star energy rating, but 700 of them achieved only between 4 and 4.5 stars.

Energy efficiency is something we can help you make an informed decision about before your house is built. Our goal is to build you a house that exceeds the minimum building code, so it’s comfortable year round and saves you money every year you’re living in it. There is a range of things we can do, and it doesn’t have to be expensive. You’ll also be helping the environment by causing fewer carbon emissions.
